If anyone is badly in need of a break from the horrid winter temps and non stop snowstorms, here are some fun thoughts to think about for both this coming spring and lovely stages of fall..... Nikki is always happy to return to her extended Iowa family,  The Old Creamery Theatre, to embark on yet another Mavis adventure (she has lost track of how many times she has actually taken on this wonderful characters, but it is somewhere in the 20's)!

The OCTC folks are bringing back the original Church Basment Ladies, that began the Love Letter to the Lutheran Ladies jaggernaut rolling!  This marks the 8th consecutive CBL adventure with the Creamery since 2010!  Again, Nikki is always grateful to the loyal audience who have kept the CBL love going and have inspired the Troupe America team to spawn 6 sequels! So if you would love to come see the original classic, the running dates are May 2--26.

As the summer fades and the leaves begin to change, Nikki will look forward to returning to Iowa, and her OCTC folk for a brand new adventure-----As she is delghted to trade in her apron and glasses for awhile and pull on the spandex!  Nikki will be playing the fiesty plucky Rosie in Mama Mia!  Come join us for a rollicking good time in the Amanas September 5--Oct 13!

But in the meantime, dreams of warm weather will have to wait, as Nikki is currently in rehearsals in snow smothered Burnsville, Minnesota!  She will very soon be packing her bags, bundling up, and boarding the bus for another fun filled tour adventure, you betcha!  CBL 6:  Rise Up, O Men will be previewing two 1:00 matinee performances at the beautiful Ames Center, ( ) on February 19 & 20!  Then the company will be hitting the road and bringing joy and hilarity (and a few new characters) to various venues across the country.   The first official on the road performance will take place in Wisconsin Rapids on February 21 and tour will commence until April 18th!

Keep up with this website for upcoming tour dates & venues!

2018 has been a bit of a slower year in her career, but Nikki did add a new venue to her resume when she traveled to the town of Hagerstown, Indiana and had a very busy summer romp with the newly revived, Nettle Creek Players.  Along with crooning many an Indiana based tune in the original musical revue, Hoosier Harmony (which also got the treat of performing for two weekends at the gorgeous Brown County Playhouse in Nashville Indiana), Nikki got to return to a Sondheim favorite, Into the Woods as Jack's Mother!

A little bit of 2017 theatrical adventures included adding Rise Up, O Men to her resume (again there were many sold out crowds requiring three additional matinees).  Before returning to her favorite alter ego, Mavis, she ventured a bit outside of her comfort zone by donning a pair of roller skates (for the first time since high school) and glided hilariously & very cautiously across the Old Creamery stage as Betty Blast in Footloose.

For the record, there was only one wipe out during the entire run (and nothing was wounded exept for pride)!  That Sunday's matinee audiience was very forgiving, and needless to say, Nikki was quite grateful for the "video prohibited during a live performance" rule!

Other fond adventures of the past year included returning to the very first chapter of Church Basement Ladies (for her 8th vigorous round) at the beautiful Legacy Theatre in Tyrone, Georgia.  The audience response, like those in the Amanas, was not only so enthusiastic that three additional performances were required, but the cast was honored with a Suzi Bass nomination for Best Ensemble!  Nikki then ventured to more stunning surroundings in Holland, Michigan to make her debut at Hope Summer Repertory Theatre where she crooned about being a great waitress in Working & stayed equally busy in one of her favorites, Annie!
